On 11 November 2020, on Lāčplēsis (the Bear Slayer – the Latvian national epic) Day, no public event was held taking into account the state of emergency in the country, but the residents of Talsi region were invited to individually place candles at the environmental art object “The Ring of Sabile” by Ojārs Feldbergs in Pedvāle Art Park, at the foot of Briņķi Hill.
The environmental art object “The Ring of Sabile” was created in 2019, marking the centenary of the Latvian Army’s battle with the Bermont Army.
